Partnering to fund cerebral palsy research

Register Now For PwP, Columbus Event

Welcome! We hope you will “REGISTER NOW”, because… the sooner you register, the sooner you can take advantage of some wonderful new ways to partner for cerebral palsy research:  We launched a new Online Registration system, STRIDE, provided by the Wells Foundation, and for the first time this year, as you register or donate,

  1. You’ll optionally be able to tell YOUR story about why you donate or participate and you’ll be given a link to that story that you can share with your friends and family, inviting them to read your story and donate to cerebral palsy to help you reach a fund-raising goal!
  2. Also, you’ll have a chance to form or join a TEAM if you like through this registration process and support one another through the pre-season!

Just click the “register now” button.  You’ll be transferred to the STRIDE website for early registration.

The sooner you register, the sooner you’ll be partnering to fund cerebral palsy research!

Volunteer or Donate:

Pedal with Pete is also searching for event volunteers and donations of door prizes, food, drinks, and/or promotional items. If you are interested, please contact Jim Stroble at .

The foundation is all volunteer-based, with over 80% of the funds that are raised going directly to fund cerebral palsy research. Cerebral palsy is caused by abnormalities in parts of the brain that control muscle movements, therefore the research can lead to life-improving treatments. Because Pedal with Pete is a 501(c)3 organization, all donations are fully tax-deductible. Pedal with Pete was founded by longtime Kent resident Peter Zeidner, who has cerebral palsy, because of the lack of research on the condition. Since its inception in 1993, the foundation has raised more than $1,200,000 for CP research.

If you want to help Pete with his mission to fund CP research and improve lives of people who live with CP,

  • –Mail your donation to Pedal with Pete, P.O. Box 274, Kent, Ohio 44240 or add a donation when you register for this event.
  • –Register here for the Kent ride or hike.
